This Children’s Swing Looks Like It Will Kill Us (In a Fun Way)
Usually to find this sort of danger and terrifying imagery, you’ve got to head to a post-Soviet country.
Back in the day, children’s toys used to be made out of things that could literally kill kids. While it may seem like a bad idea now, this actually served to make a select few children grow up to be rugged and adventurous — and everyone else grow up with a variety of scars that they have to explain every time they take their shirt off.
While most of these structures have been dismantled and replaced by safer, wood-and-plastic alternatives (Boo! Bring back the Fisher Price punji pits!), some remain to this day and are able to be experienced by whoever dares try them. This is one of those toys, and I’m sure riding it is a blast as long as you have your tetanus shot:
